I used to run quite bit before I started seriously weight training. I never had any problems. Now, I can't run a mile without my calfs cramping. I stop to stetch and rub them out and that takes care of it for another 1/2 mile or so, then I have to stop again.
Is this from my calf workouts or is it a hydration issue?
Winners train. Losers complain.
Stretch beforehand and of course make sure your well hydrated and have consumed enough carbs beforehand
