Because I listen to some American comedians.
Most don't seem to like mr Quayle too much.

He is the barometer against which all future U.S. veep candidates will be judged against...the better to determine whether a particular ticket will pass or fail the "stupidity factor".
In Quayle's case, he had it in abundance.
What can I say, history is a harsh judge.
