I still have to look on websites to see what exercises to do for different muscle groups. Both routines for shoulders and back look the same.

what part of the back?
I don't think shrugs do much for your shoulders.
Upright rows do work your side/rear delts
spinal erector work has almost no impact.
your lat movements rows/pullups have some shoulder interaction
I think chest pressing movements interact with your shoulder about as much.
I did this on tuesday. would this be back or shoulders?
Bent over row: 120x8, 130x8, 170x6
Supine row: 3x8
Shrug: 190x6, 140x8, 140x8, 120x8
Pull ups, 1x3, 70lb help x 5, 70lb help x5
Db Raises: 25/25x6, 25/25x6, 25/25x6
Arnold press; 15x8, 15x8
Military press: 30x5, 25x5
That's back up to Pullups, then shoulders with the rest.
People wonder why I call myself Mr. T. One dude asked, 'does the T stand for tough?' I said no. Another dude asked if the T stands for my last name, Tureaud. No it does not. The 'T' in Mr. T stands for tuna. T loves tuna.
lol its both.
Yeah both!!!
lol oh well. I'll just do both on tuesday and thursday. Since i'm not doing too much on both groups, i don't think it would hurt.
I'd lower your rep ranges on these to under 12 assuming ur goal is muscle growth
Db Raises: 25/25x6, 25/25x6, 25/25x6
Arnold press; 15x8, 15x8
Military press: 30x5, 25x5
rule of thumb:
pulling something towards your chest from most angles = back
and
most movements where your upper arms move above shoulder height = shoulders
I think you're confused.
When people say "back" they're usually refrring to the lats or the spinal erectors. But sometimes people lump their traps in with the back.
When people say "shoulders" they're usually referring to the delts. But sometimes people lump their traps in with the shoulders.
This is most likely where your confusion has come from.

I've always counted just the rear delts as a muscle to do on back day, because it is a pulling muscle. The side and front delts I do on chest day. Then again, I'm a![]()
