The Letter follow-up...
Hey all,
I went out to the club for my roomie birthday tonight, and SHE was there. Leslie... the girl I wrote the Valentine's Letter to. She wanted to see who I was. So, there I am, talking to my buddies and Shannon walks up. "Jamie, this is Leslie..." (duh!).
"Hello Jamie, thank you for that letter. It was cute, and really made my day". I said "Hey, no problem..."
PAUSE...
We looked at each other... friends started talking. So, I got back in my talk, and she stood there and talked to Shannon. AWKWARD MOMENT!
The night goes on, she keeps drinking. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, whatever... she's dancing beside me, but we didn't talk. I didn't know what to say, and she was getting pretty smashed.
By the end of the night, she was blitzed, dancing with pretty much any guy around. It was sad to see... and I have no reason to get jealous, so it's all good.
She did however tell Shannon earlier that evening, that she's e-mailing me tommorrow. However, as the night went on and we didn't talk... I figure she won't. Shannon says she will.. who knows. Supposedly I am "cute". Yeah for me...
So, as of right now. I don't really care if she does, cuz I don't really go for girls like that. From what Shannon says, she's "Quite and Sweet, etc..." Damn! If that's what quite girls doing these days, geez.. there's no hope for me.
Of course, this could have been just a bad night. Maybe the fact that I didn't talk much with her, depressed her and drove her to drink? (fat chance!) haha..
So, yeah... anyways... you wanted to know
If she e-mails me. I will read it, I will respond and maybe even get a date out of her. Then, I can make my judgement from there. She just does something for me... I dunno what it is, but she's soooooo cute! damn...
Night all, ugh! I was getting 8 - 10 hours all week, but everyone came out for MY birthday. I had to go for theres. 4 hours of sleep tonight, yeah for me.

OH YEAH. I drank WATER all night. Drinks were 1.75 tonight and I was offered 100 of them. There I was, dancing away (good cardio) drinking, what.. 6 bottles of water. I felt good, seriously. It was great...

I think you should still go for it. Like you said make a decision are you get to know her. If she's cute then you wanna get there before some other dude does.
Start talking to her ........ ask her things that you know your gonna get a response from .. like ..... "So, do you have any brothers or sisters ..... what does your partents do .... what do you like doing .... hobbies ... (you can expand on all these things, none of them are dead ends .... unless shes an only child I suppose). Compliement her .... flirt.

Twiz, that is good to hear. As you should know by now, college girls act a little different drunk than when they are sober. She probably isn't like that all the time, so don't worry about it. Anyway, good luck bro, I hope it works out for you.

Yeah, deffinatelly dont juge her ny that night, i know i dont act the same way when im drunk, hell i dont even normally drink, but when i broke up with my gf couple of months ago, i went to the club and she was there i couldnt take it so i got really drunk. And i started dirty dancing with a bunch of girl from college. Now if another girl saw me that night, she got a completelly different image of what i am, we all have bad days. Give her And YOU a chance. Talk to her

Sounds to me like she is friendly and outgoing. As people get drunk they obviously get less inhibited. I think she obviously wanted you to talk to her (she came up to you!). You need to stop being afraid and talk to her. Obviously she doesn't have a boyfriend. Go find her today and ask her out! A lot of women won't make the first move, or at least want to get a clear signal from you. Your letter didn't state your REAL intentions. She probably came up to you last night trying to find out your real intentions. Be clear to her! Trust me on this one. If she had no interest she would not have approached you!

Good luck man! Those are the times when maybe if you had a few in ya, you could have loosened up a little and talked more. That's the way I am with new people anyway, get a few drinks in me and I talk to them like I knew them my whole life! LOL!
