    Doc said dont BB.

    Is there a reason my doc would of told me not to BB? I am type 2 diabetic. he said i could tone but not to lift to get big.I didnt go into it with him cause im going to lift anyway but does anyone know why? My blood presurre is good now, cholesterol is way high, and with the meds my diabeties is under control.
    Im 29, 5'9", 240lbs (now after much dieting). Am gonna post a journal soon.

    I don't know that much about physiology, but I do know that insulin levels are very important for exercise. Maybe someone else can provide more details?

    Anaerobic exercise like weightlifting uses blood sugar for fuel, might throw your body out of balance. Aerobic exercise uses fat for fuel.
