ok , i havent started lifting yet , i want to clean up my diet considerably before i begin . i want to be in the proper mind set when it comes to food consumption before i start annything . my diet has considerably cleaned up in the last two weeks and im already gaining weight (what i wanted ) but i know it could always be improved , and im sure you guys have some valuable input to give me . im nnot expecting my current diet to be anything perfect but it is better than where i was at before .

*breakfast
1bowl honey nut cheerios
1 bagel w/ cream cheese
protein shake

*lunch
2 carrots
grapes
hamburger on whole wheat
protein shake

*dinner
usually chicken breast or steak
potatoes
protein shake

* throw in a whole lotta water and a bananna here and there

any suggestions are definatly welcome , im here to grow
