The half-million citizens of the District of Columbia, like citizens of the fifty states, bear all of the obligations of American citizenship: they are required to obey the laws passed by Congress; they pay federal taxes; they serve in the military; and they fight and die in our wars. Yet they lack the most basic right that should accompany American citizenship—the right to full voting representation in Congress. This makes the United States the only nation in the world with a representative, democratic constitution that denies citizens of its capital representation in the national legislature. In fact, no fewer than 183 nations provide their citizens the type of representation citizens of Washington, DC are denied.

"This year Krispy Kreme's stock has fallen more than 45 percent, hurt by the growing popularity of the low-carb diet fad".

The people working at KK are geniuses - their stock fell 45% because people are not buying high carb food SO THEY START MAKING high carb frozen beverages with an averag 100g carb per serving - one even has 160g.

This is going to pay off big time......

i think this is a bad idea because everyone i talk to gets disgusted by it... who would buy it other than maybe one out of 200 people?

anyway... jay leno and conan both told jokes on it. jay leno was like "no wonder america is so obese! there have been talks about the health benefits of chewing and now people are too tired to even chew!" conan was like "if drinking is even too much work for you just wait for the krispy kreme glaze donut ivy drip!"

160g of Carbs and probably 2 or 3 grams of protein. Sounds like a good ratio.

I don't fully understand the ratios on this page.

    Drink #1 12oz - 74g carbs
    Drink #1 20oz - 120g carbs

    Drink #2 12oz - 69g carbs
    Drink #2 20oz - 160g carbs

I think the latter 20oz has to be a typo, else they add a TON of sugar to the bigger driink...

    Oh, I‘m afraid that‘s no typo G.

Let me clue all of you in on something - Krispy and his goons are trying to take over the world by giving everyone cancer and diabetes. I know it may seem absurd but it is true.

    The dolphins told me so.

That sounds about right. 20oz is half a cup short of double the 12oz.

    The math doesn't lie.

    120g/20oz = 6g/oz
    74g/12oz = 6.2g/oz

    69g/12oz = 5.75g/oz
    160g/20oz = 8g/oz - There is always a little varience in nutrition

If they gave you the option to add a scoop of protein then you would have a weight gainer shake ready to go. Though, the fat content probably won't be very good.

A difference of 45g Looks like a significant variation to me, when considering the effect per volume of carbohydrates (especially sugar).

I think they just screwed up the calculation somewhere Galileo. Maybe an extra lump of doughnut fell in or something.

Because the 16oz version comes out almost the same as the 12oz.

    93g/16oz = 5.81g/oz
