I am looking to buy either a navigation system or a overhead lcd/dvd for my vehicle at the moment... which would you guys get first

Neither. Navigation systems I will never understand, sucker equipment. DVD for a car seems like status equipment, just to show off. Of course this isn't my opinion of you, just the feel I get when I see these things in general.
