After losing say 70#s will the loose skin ever pull back? I have seen many women stretched to the max while pregnant(and fat to boot) and yet most of them that lose the fat after birthing, look like a million dollars now. Plus, some of the skin will hopefully be partially filled with new muscle!
I am still about 20#s away, but I can see my skin is drooping and by the time I'm down around 210, it will probably be worse. My wife has commited to "letting" me have surgery if needed to take up the slack, but that would be a last resort.
I am rationalizing that since your skin is constantly being shed and new layers forming, maybe the "under" layers will be tighter? Maybe it will take several months? I have been a couch potato for 20 years, I can afford to wait a little while if needed.
Any opinions appreciated...
Thanks
P.S.- One day, maybe at the year mark, I will have some before/after pics to post. They will be some doozies I can guarantee.I am working my tail off. haha literally.
A bodybuilder asked God, "What is the number one bodybuilding exercise?"
God answered: "Deadlifts"
The bodybuilder then asked God, "What is the second best bodybuilding exercise?"
And God answered: "More Deadlifts"
congrats on the effort! keep it up!
run a search on google for:"increasing skin elasticity"
lots of things came up including the use of vitamins/minerals, moisturizers, etc...
not sure which are valid or not, so you should wade through it all yourself and figure out what your up for!
Thanks! I'll do it!
