I go trough three t-shirts a day in the summer, four if I workout.... I have always been like this even though it seems to be getting worse lately.

I don't think there's anything to do about it. If there is I'd love to hear it.

You probably have hyperhidrosis. This is a sweating condition that is very common. Some are born with it, some develop it over the years for no reason.
Common signs are oversweating: hands, forehead, arm pits, behind the knees, and in the crotch even when not doing exercise.
There are a couple treatments for hyperhidrosis:
    1. DRYSOL - you simply apply the liquid antiperspirant to the affected area and it blocks the sweat glands (I have used this on my hands and it definately works).
    2. Surgery - there is a procedure where an artery near your arm pit and chest is clipped and it stops oversweating. Very expensive surgery but it works. There is lots of information regarding this on the internet. A good site is http://www.hyperhidrosis.com
I would definately stay away from ephederine or high caffein products that are thermogenics or fat burners because they could make your situation worse.
    Hope this helps.

I don't sweat all that much, just my face gets sweaty/oily a lot.

But I've noticed over this past week or two from eating all this protein and stuff I don't have a greasy face that much anymore.

Guy I work with got a prescription from his doc for his sweating. Seems to be helping alot. He used to have buckets dripping off him in the middle of winter. I'll find out what the drug was and get back to you.

because i have this prob where ill sweat alot in the underarm or hands...theres this product called certain dri at walgreens....absolutly amazing. A bit itchy when you put it on at night, and sometimes can leave severe dryness and irritated skin (thats just when starting to use it then it goes away like your skin gets used to it). i can wear the tightest shirt and have it be 100 degrees...and i wont sweat in my armpits or hands anymore! great product!!!!

You need to remember that if you're using a product to stop sweating all together, then that is actually worse than sweating profusely. Sweating is a natural thing, it keeps your body cooler. Stop that process and you overheat and could do brain damage.... well, alot of damage for that matter.

Maybe your body is truly overheating a little more. It could be alot of things. A temp rise in workout environment, stress, working harder in gym. As someone said in an earlier post, it could actually be a problem with the disorder.

It is not like the pits and hands are the only place you sweat from. I can't imagine using something to prevent you from sweating there will do brain damage lol. Anti perspirant certianly isn't going to cause brain damage.

I think it's a nerve that's clipped. Also they are doing botox for excessive armpit sweating, aka "axillary hyperhydrosis".
    I know you're half-crazy, but I wish you'd go all the way.

If you stop sweating from your hands and arm pits...there are still so many other places to sweat from. There is no way you would get brain damage.

Don't worry about brain damage. Unless you're running a marathon in phoenix in the summer without water stations.
