Just curious as to what everyone is paying special attention to during the offseason in order to be better for next year. I myself am working extra hard on mid-back thickness and side deltoid width.
I am killing myself on partial deadlifts, bent rows and t-bar rows for back. I'm up to 275-285 for 6 good reps in the bent row and 545 in the partial deads.
For delts I am doing alot of variations of the side lateral...utilizing cables,dumbell at many angles, lateral machines, and a couple of different presses tweaked to hit the medials harder.
So far its working.Can't wait to show it to the judges.

I'm still cutting [16 weeks thus far] and i'll prolly do at least another 6 before i finish but for this time next year i want bigger delts, a thicker chest and bigger calves.

I'm with C_D. I could always use some bigger calves. I also want to spread my lats as well.
Just looking to get as strong as possible. Gonna start to put weight on to aid in that quest.
Gopro- how far off the ground are the plates on those rack pulls? Is that for reps?

Picking up more than I did last week.
Improving conditioning with high rep squats and running.
Dieting down to under 200, so I can get into the 198's.
Squats work better than supplements.

More definition and then more size everywhere.
LATMAN...just to answer your question...I pull the bar from a position just below my knees...I get about 4-5 with that weight.

Chest. If I can bring up my chest, I'll be happy. Right now, it's too weak (size-wise; it's strong as hell) compared to the rest of my physique. I have crap chest genetics; my father in his prime (he used to be a weighted dips fanatic) had a very small chest. I'm working it gradually with this heavier routine; it's already much fuller than a few months ago. We'll see.
