    unexplained bruises

    anybody ever get these after lifting? i have some strange bruises on my feet. 1 on my right big toe, and 3 various ones of my left foot, one slightly big. i read this could be from weightlifting somehow.. i deadlifted a day or two earlier

    am i alone here?

    Could be weak veins getting hammered by heavy weight on your feet. Just a theory, but could be. Also bad shoes will do that. Dr. Schoal's shoes have a really nice support thing going there, I'd give them a look.

    you wouldn't assume it's anything serious though, would you? i also read it could be a sign of blood disorders, but i doubt that.. i'm hoping it's just the weightlifting thing.. yeah i heavy deadlifted, and my shoes are getting a little worn. thanks for reply

    I'm not a medical expert, but after heavy lifting on the farm with a little messed up shoes I had black spots too, I assume it was because the shoes were poor.

    ive found a huge bruise on my thigh and one on my knee, all started from when i do legs in the gym altho they dont hurt they are big
