    Rant #2

Im sick and tired of handing a cashier a bill between $20-$100 dollars and they sit there and hold it up into the light like they are going to analyze my fake/real dollar bill. if the FBI cant crack down on counterfeit bills then I seriously dont think this high school minimum wage burger jockey is going to make a significant difference. so quit stalling and give me my ****ing change!

These have to be the lamest rants I've ever heard.

Denis Leary you are not. Why don't you rant about something worthwhile? Like how about doctor's office waits, or the dentist, or something that's truly annoying.

ok, then i shall change my rant to something truly annoying.

the fact that the same 6 or 7 WBB members who constantly try to elevate themselves at the expense of others. it's a message board, or should be called a message bored. something to do whilst bored. yet that isnt good enough and there are those select few who always have to make a negative comment to feel better about themselves. that is truly annoying.

While you're addressing the petty problems, there's still people walking in the exit of the DIY store where I work, past multiple "NO ENTRY" signs and me saying "sorry you can't come in this way". They ignore me and I return into my daydream, I'm not gonna start a fight over a doorway.

Once again, someone has fallen victim to the internet "tone problem". You couldn't tell that I was completely joking around in my post, as usual.

This is a ridiculous rant. The FBI can't eliminate the mass production of counterfeit bills but it's easy to spot a fake one, extremely easy.

So what's a cashier supposed to do? Not check and take fake bills and then have his/her head ripped off by the manager/owner for taking a loss? Right that makes a lot of sense.

Don't take it as an insult when someone checks a larger bill. You may or may not know that it's fake so they're checking the bill, not you.

With the high number of counterfeits in circulation these days, why WOULDN'T a cashier check to see if your bills are real?

In addition, like Eric said, it's easy to spot a counterfeit bill and we can assume that if the store is credible then these "idiot" cashiers have been told how to. Just because you don't know how to do it doesn't mean others don't.

My rant would be when people abbreviate small words like "b", instead of "be", "2" instead of "too" or "to", and "some1" instead of "someone".
The half-million citizens of the District of Columbia, like citizens of the fifty states, bear all of the obligations of American citizenship: they are required to obey the laws passed by Congress; they pay federal taxes; they serve in the military; and they fight and die in our wars. Yet they lack the most basic right that should accompany American citizenship—the right to full voting representation in Congress. This makes the United States the only nation in the world with a representative, democratic constitution that denies citizens of its capital representation in the national legislature. In fact, no fewer than 183 nations provide their citizens the type of representation citizens of Washington, DC are denied.

i was wondering when the IQ police would show up to ruin any fun in the thread with an attempt to actually shed light on the subject as if we were all blind to the simple truth.

I work at mcdonalds, and as far as canada goes it's pretty easy to spot a real from a fake bill, and you odn't need to look at it in the light. it takes litterally 2-5 seconds of a 30 second transaction, that our you could accept a real one and get suspended.

As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

Go to Quick Trip, for security reasons they take all money without checking it and report counterfeits later on. And complaining about grocery store trips is so grandma'ish.

    I've got one.

When someone comes up to you and says "Hey, can I ask you a question?"

Well, you didn't leave me much of a choice there, did you, @sshole?
