Agreed with Vido. Just go by how you feel. I usually take longer between sets when I'm doing Squats or DL's because they are so exhausting.

The time of rest between sets depends usually on my intensity level and what rep range I'm using. For heavier sets of course I take a little longer of a rest period (up to 3 minutes) so I am fully recovered for the next set.
