    You're kidding, right?

You ever studied on ADD meds? They ROCK!
Haha, you're referring to adderall. That stuff is pure amphetamine, and I can't believe they prescribe that stuff to kids, much less adults. I have used it, as most college students have at one point or another, and I can't stand the stuff. You finish your studying, then you feel wired and strung out for the rest of the day and good luck getting any sleep. Marijuana on the other hand... when I study on pot, I totally lose interest in whatever it is I'm studying within about 5 minutes with my nose in a book. But I like to do physical things when I smoke, rather than just sit around because I get nervous legs and I have to move.

Herb isn't evil, but its not a blessing either.
I have to disagree with that second part. I think it is a blessing. Look at all the people on this poll that smoke. Imagine all the alcoholics and drug addicts in the world that got their start from pharmaceutical prescriptions. Think of a world where marijuana wasn't stereotyped as is it is today, where it was regulated as alcohol is, where you could buy it right at the corner, instead of a 6 pack of beer. How many kids would be less inclined to have a stranger with an ID buy booze for them? How many heroin addicts and pillheads might have taken a different path? How many less drunk drivers would there be on the road if otherwise responsible people had the choice of either drinking or smoking publicly? How many of those suffering from depression would find solace in the process of growing/enjoying the effects of a remarkable herb that does so much more than any prescription ever could? What about our failing states like Michigan, California, etc that could benefit from the decriminalization of marijuana and the free trade and farming of such an abundant and hearty cash crop? But, no, the government only wants to help strengthen the pharmaceutical companies stranglehold on our health industry, and Monsanto's stranglehold over our food supply. I was blown away at the results of the poll. They don't care about us or our freedoms! They don't care about protecting us keeping us safe from terrorists! That's why the Mexican American border is wide open, and a massive portion of Mexico's economy is driven by international drug-trade. We are healthy people here, and we smoke marijuana. Its time the federal government starts recognizing state's rights to regulate this renewable resource independently, and give up on their war against (which they are losing and only results in the overcrowding of our jails and court systems).

Kampia, whose comments were included in the study's press release, adds, "Our nation's laws guarantee that 100 percent of the proceeds from marijuana sales go to unregulated criminals rather than to legitimate businesses that pay taxes to support schools, police and roads."

It might be an exercise in futility, but I'll try again.

There is no such thing as a good drug or a bad drug. Marijuana has obvious medicinal implications when consumed in a healthy manner, and at the same time it can have negative effects, or certain people with chemical dependency issues should probably stay away from it.

So, rather than the good or bad banter, who uses marijuana and has a great body?

I enjoy using marijuana occasionally and I have a great body, a great mind, and a great spirit.

People seem to ignore our understanding of brain chemistry. The only "universal" effect of marijuana -besides physical changes like pupil dilation, blood thickening,etc- is increased amount of intuition. Beyond that most mental effects of the drug occur within individuals and/or groups of individuals.
