I started at 280 now i am down to 267 and have stopped loosing at 2200 cals a day. i have dropped it to 1800 cals a day 40-30-30, i am hungry but seeing results and my strength in the gym has suprisingly gotten better. Is 1800 a good number to stick with for 8 weeks. My goal is 245 by christmas, but i don't want to loose what i gained on my bulk. I do cardio 3 days a week and i really dont want or i should say dont have time to do more, i do cardio t-t-s and lift m-w-f so 6 days a week i am in the gym. I would rather taper my diet accordingly.
1800 is very low for 267. Honestly, 1800 is very low for 175.
You're headed for a metabolic crash, and that's what it sounds like happened at 2200.
Scan around here, this question has come up many times.
