Hi,
I looked at this magazine called muscle media 2 weeks back. There's this body-for-life program that suggests that weights
must be done in combination with cardio, typically:
Wk 1:
Mon-upper body
Tue-Intense Cardio
Wed-lower body
thu- Intense cardio
Fri-Upper body
Sat- Intense Cardio
Sun-Rest
Wk 2:
Mon-Lower body
Tue-Intense Cardio
Wed-Upper body
thu- Intense cardio
Fri-Lower body
Sat- Intense Cardio
Sun-Rest
Alternate between wk 1 & 2 for the next 12 weeks.
I tried it for the first 2 weeks & found that my muscle could not
grow as much as when I just do 1 cardio per week. Is this slow
progress cause by unsuitability of the above program?![]()
Incidentally, I am an endomorph!
well....how long have you been training?
this program might be unsuitable for you,...depends on your background. For me it wouldn't be conducive to progress, because it would be overtraining for me as far as the weights go. (incidentally i do cardio about 5-6 times a week)
A little learning is a dangerous thing...

Dude, did Doogie Howser just steal my fucking car?
I have been training for 3 months.
I think I will cut back on the cardio to 2 session.![]()
