What do you think about World Gym and Golds Gym??
Which of the two gyms do you think is best??? and why?
I used Golds back in the late 80's and early 90's. I worked out at the one in Dallas, Austin, and Baton Rouge, depending on where I was located or visiting, and I thought it was a fine gym. Here in Texas, they were all converted to 24 hour fitness.
I really cant give you much info about what I like better. As long as it has what I need, then any gym works for me.

The best gym lies in the balance where the most women and the equipment I need meet.
Man thats the best gym Ever. luckily my gym is like thatOriginally Posted by twm5993
its all good.
I like golds. But it depends on which you go in. Some of the older ones are crap. I worked at a newer one for a few months. It was the nicest place i have ever been.

You know, two things that I really like about my gym are that there are seldom pretty women, and that usually it's pretty empty when I train.
I really just lift better when I'm not distracted, and I also kind of hate how the gym is like a meat market- that was worse at school, though. Talk about girls who were shopping for c*ck. I guess I'm just really opposed to people who stand around and chat and flirt and crap. That's not what the gym is for. The gym is for working.
They vary based on the franchise owner, and even then aren't always the same.
I used to belong ot a Golds that was very large, very well equipped. The same guys owned a golds not far away that was small, cramped, and lacked equipment.
Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei

I has a blog.
I has a facebook.
The best gym I've been to was a Powerhouse Gym in Florida. It was across the street from my hotel so my brother and I decided to check it out.
Man, was it nice! They had every piece of equipment you could imagine, the windows were black (something I really like), it was clean, it had an awesome DB rack, and it just had a really great atmosphere for training; very laid back.
