Hey Tryska do practice Ayurveda? For those of you who don't know what that is; it is an ancient Indian healing art that involves exercises, meditation, diet, etc.
i'm aware of ayurvedic methodologies and the beliefs....but i wouldn't say I "practice" per se. my grandmother was an ayurvedic healer from what i understand, though. why breeze? what's up?

I am thinking of getting into meditation. I looking into a holistic approach to life and health that would compliment my weight training. I know about Yoga, but I was wondering about other disciplines. I am sure sometime back that you mentioned that you practice one of the meditation arts. 's why I asked.
there are actually several different schools of yoga, but yoga, would complement, so would t'ai chi, and qi gong (never practiced that one)
as far as complementing your lifestyle....ayurveda would, because it's a whole range of stuff to do with physical, mental and spiritual wellness. ie: yoga, herbalism, ways of eating, and a certain dogma that pulls it all together.
