    High Protein Diets?

I've been on a high protein and fat diet for about 2-3 months. my carbs come from 1 cup of oats and 1 cup of rice a day. i'm consuming about 300g protein and about 150-200g of fat (i drink 500ml of cream). I've not gained any fat and have gained 14lb and on 2 successive weeks gained 3lbs/p/week.

My question is, is this diet harmful to my health(too much protein/fat, not enough carbs)?

Id suggest drinking plenty of water with that diet if you dont already do so.
Also taking a break once in a while .. doing a refeed.. is a good idea.
Also make sure you take a good calcium suplement.

BTW .. Where do you workout in Dublin Ireland .. when Im there I usually go to the Westwood on the racecourse .. awesome place

Yes, definitely drink a lot of water. I too take in a lot of protein but if I slack on the water my kidneys let me know it.
