    What software do you like to keep on your pc?

    Apart from games and web browsers what software do you guys run that you really like?

    I use:
    • paint shop pro - for image editing, its much easier than photoshop
    • SETI - Search for Extra Terrestrial Life, I'm at 116 units so far
    • dietOrganizer, of course
    • webshots - for backgrounds/screensaver
    • winDVD 5 Platinum - for DVD playback, thinking about going up to the latest TheaterTek
    • WS_FTP - for ftp'ing!

    Needless to say my program files list is virtually empty
    Back in the day I used to be addicted to PCN (point cast network) but I guess that ol school push technology was just destroying bandwith so they yanked it for pull technology stuff.

    just wondering what else is out there.

    Aside from the basics...

    Photoshop 7.0 -for image editting, resizing, batch resizing, printing stuff, pretty much everything

    Adaware

    Hijack This- cleaning registry and startup, removing spyware

    Winrar- for unzipping, I cant remember if or why its better than winzip

    WS_FTP Pro 7.0- simple and powerful FTP

    That's all the generic stuff I have.

    what sites u using for torrents?

    why not try some xdcc searches www.xdccspy.com , www.packetnews.com etc.

    i know suprnova.org was down for a little bit last week but its been working fine for me for the past few days.
