How many shakes do you have a day? Right now I have one in the morning and one after I work out .... somtimes before bed . I use 1% milk and On 100% whey.
Curious , How many scoops do you use of protein powder?

- Do you think its good to have a protein shake before bed?
- If you eat alot of protein during the day , do you change up how many shakes you have?

1 shake before bed.
2 scoops (Cioncidentally, the same brand you use)
Banana, olive oil, 2% milk, frozen strawberries
Whey protein wouldn't be the absolute best type of protein to eat particularly before bed, but a whey protein shake wouldn't hurt either. You'd want slow digesting protein ot keep you through your sleep. A lot of people eat cottage cheese (a good sourse of casein) right before bed straight out of a tub. I'd want to try to eat some with strawberries, since its been getting a lot of acclaim lately.
Yep. I only drink my shakes if I'm in a caloric deficit for the day and need to fill up some extra cals and/or protein and fats.

1 shake. There's no substitute for a meal. I just use whey to get in that extra protein.

1 after breakfastr, 1 after my workout....any more and i might puke
1 after a workout. Sometimes if I'm feeling way too lethargic to cook and I need some protein, I'll do another. Luckily my energy levels have been pretty good lately so this hasn't happened. Can't wait to start bulking. 1 pre-workout, 1 post-workout, and 1 post-post workout shake. Nitrean is teh pwn.
Depends. If I'm on UD2.0, several of my meals will be casein shakes. This is because I'm a vegetarian and it's hard to find other sources of protein without any carbs. On a bulk I normally have whey pre and post workout and I always have a pre bed casein shake.- How many protein shakes do you have a day and why?

No, because I don't drink them just for the protein content per se, I drink them in order to get the protein in the right form at the right time - fast digesting whey post workout and slow digesting casein before bed.- If you eat alot of protein during the day , do you change up how many shakes you have?
2 to 3 shakes a day but it's basically 3

Three shakes a day with 1 1/2 scoops per shake.
I was using Nutrisport whey/casein blend coz it was cheap (50g a serving) but i just got Dymatize Elite whey and it tastes fu#king awful! Its far too sweet! i have 2 scoops (44g protein) once or twice a day.
I guess im trying to build muscle but dont want the fat that comes along with it . should I start using water instead of milk to mix it up with?

2 weightgainers shakes a day, 1 whey protein shake post workout (with sugar), and one whey shake in the middle of the night. So 4, give or take. All shakes are made with 2-3 cups of skim milk.

When I'm bulking I'll have, say, 2.5 servings of Nlarge2 a day perhaps.
Right now, clean cutting, I'll have maybe 30g whey in the morning with breakfast, then 60-80g post workout, and if I've in a time crunch I'll make a midday meal something like a small pbj sandwich on low carb bread, some fruit, and 50g whey. Something like that.
1 a day (post workout)...2 scoops whey, banana, gatorade
Sometimes I have 1 scoop whey, oatmeal and PB for a mid-day shake
