    SW Unchained

    Lifting really hard now. Heavy, increased weight per set pl type **** now. Mission: Get as strong as God and my genetics deem possible.

    My muscles kill from this week's workout. You will notice my sets will not be as structured and precise as last time because it caused me to go into the weightroom thinking "I HAVE to do this" and if I didn't do it I felt like **** and hated myself later for being weak. I'm still gonna be hard on myself though. Good motivation.

    I haven't been on for the last 3-4 weeks because I'm a busy guy, working and being top seeded varsity on the highschool bowling team, I see top 5 in state this year. Strange combo, I know. Powerlifter and bowler. Both as passion.

    I hunger for strength. It's an uncontrolable urge I have now. I don't care about being cut, I don't care about looks, I don't care about size. Strength is all there is for me in the weightroom. All I want.

    2 day pl style split now guys. Lifting mondays and thursdays. Bowling practice tues and wed, sometimes fri for varsity now. This week I will do legs tomorrow, monday. That's it for 2 weeks because of christmas break and I won't be able to get into the weightroom. Can't control that.

    This journal will be for my reference, your suggestions and for asking me questions about why in the Hell I just did/said that. Comment freely though guys. Later.......

    RYUAGE: Wouldn't trade it for the world man.

    Today

    I had to get home quick because my grandpa needed help outside. So I only did a few quick sets of squats, but with like 30 seconds in between sets so it was brutal. Short, but brutal. ATF squats.

    Christmas break was over, then we missed an entire week of school due to ice and snow, that's iowa for ya. I also can't go to school tomorrow or the next day, i'm sure because it's freezing rain right now and more of that + snow to come. Some **** guys.

    So today was first chance to lift, I took it. Upper body

    Ran outta time had to go, wanted to do more on curls.

    I have a problem with blood in stool after deads now, it's in gen. health and it depends on what gets said in there if I will try deads for a couple of months. Otherwise workout felt good, wanted to get some rows and low lat pulldowns in but that's how she goes.

    As usual, I feel like I was beaten by the mafia today. If it's above my waist, and below my neck it hurts. Winter weather really bad. 2 hour delay for school today. No school all last week. I know there'll be no school tomorrow. Freezing rain and snow tonight. So I'm hoping I get to lift when I want to, that's either thurs. or fri. That'll be lower body and I'll be doing Squats, Hack squats and Standing calf raises w/ bb.

    I would normally do Legpress, but hauling all of those 45's from everywhere in the weightroom is such a time consuming hassle, I don't think it's worth it.

    Thanks man. That feeling is pretty great. Lets you know you didn't waste an hour of your life playing with iron lol. How's everything going with you? I saw the pictures, definite improvements going on there.

    Yea I feel ya. I'm doin' pretty good. Got a little stressed out there for awhile about making improvements/not making improvements, but now I'm back and ready for some pain lol.

    No longer sore. Ate 4 grilled cheese sandwiches, 2 medium pork steaks, several crackers with peanut butter on them, 1 bigassed baked potato, drank 2 glasses of milk, almost 2 liters of docter pepper, and 3 glasses of orange juice today.

    Not too bad of a diet, coulda done without the pop and eaten 2-3 banannas, but hell, it's nothing major. Man, I worked outside (wind chill about -20 and plenty of it) 5 hours today and burned 1,000,000 calories it felt like. Tired right now as is, and I will have school tomorrow and will do legs. Will do squats (light) to see if there's any blood. My grandmother made the observation that I only tell her there's blood in the toilet for 1 crap the day I hit the weights after I haven't for a while. Could be truth to it. No blood exept for the 1 time after I deadlifted monday.

    Lol the though has crossed my mind. I haven't had practice all week because of the ice. I also don't have school today, so I can't lift. See why I make no gains??????

    Worked alot outside today to make up for school being closed and no weightroom available. Split wood 2 hours, did chores 2 hours. Several degress below zero today, with wind making frostbite quick and painful. Ears kinda hurt

    Lol yeah but I don't think that'd go over well with the officials Be pretty sweet though. I bowled in my YABA league and have to be at a tournament at 2:30 today. In YABA I bowled 175, 194 and 189 (decent). Crappy lane conditions, better in tournament. I feel better from that 1 lifting session last week. I think I'll step it up and bench 2 times per week now. High volume used to do wonders for me. Combined with newbie gains of course

    Ate well today. Did regular chores. Have school tomorrow and will do upper body, excluding deads. Hopefully no snow to interfere with lifitng mon and fri this week.

    Did upper body today. Left out deads. Curls, Seated rows and Tricep ext only warmup sets due to time.

    Low-lat pulldowns, stack only goes to 180 so rigging it up is an enterprise. Think 45's and pins laying everywhere.

    Last 3 sets I had to have someone push my shoulders down so I wouldn't be doing wide grip chin ups lol.

    Chub: Thanks man, My lats and traps kill already and are stiff lol. Had to stretch some, my body is telling me I've hit a new high in stressing it and it's pissy lol.

    cp: Thanks for the compliment. I'm in southern IA and it's been snowing and iceing here like hell for 2 weeks. Not counting today, in the 2 weeks we were supposed to have school we've had 2 school days out of 10 possible. Hehehe, pretty sweet exept for the making it up in the sunny summer part.

    No chores today, as I had school (strange, ain't it?). Grandpa said it's times like that he truely misses me lol.

    Ate well, bowled well. I told a friend about my low lat pulldowns in a class and a teacher/coach overheard it and he's a pompous, buff mofo. He's on advacare. He told me I must've been exaggrating. I told him he's wrong. He still doesn't believe me. Maybe it's more than he can do, I don't know. He might feel threatened by me being younger and more natural (no supplements, or gear) and needed to **** on my total. **** him.

    well for those of you above ~13% bf, your muscles aren't defined and to most dumb people, that means your clearly not strong... (in regards to your teacher/coach person saying you cant do what you claimed)

    and btw, after looking at your lifts, i've come to the conclusion that pounds must be a whole lot lighter in iowa, if i move there, il be benchin 300 in no time

    Lol sounds like you want my strength, but you have what I want too, your bf %. I would love to have that, but that would be a helluva cut. You're right, I'm big but not alot of muscle definition, which is a common thing in pl'ers. Maybe he doesn't know that.
