It takes me about 15 minutes to get back from the gym to my blender where I usually blend up Gatorade, a banana and whey for my PWO shake.
I was thinking that instead I could just use a shaker and mix the Gatorade and whey right at the gym, and then just eat the banana whole. Would this be better than waiting 15 minutes to get to a blender?
Also, I think raisins are a little higher GI (65) than banana (55). Should I grab a handful of raisins instead of the banana?

15 minutes is fine, the mythical "window" is within 15-45 minutes anyways. However, it really all depends. Some have experienced great gains during a workout, rather than after a workout, and vice-versa.
But really, who cares. A minute, to 15 minutes, what's the problem?
Well I'm in a dorm room, so it'd also be more convenient to not have to clean the blender, which takes like 10 minutes in my tiny sink. But that's not a big deal really.
The point is, whatever suits you. It's not a big deal.
cripes, I slack and some times wait 45 minutes.... kind of like right now.
Ever thought about getting one of those hand-blenders? They are very easy to rinse off, cheap, and work pretty well.
