    Ratios of CHO/Fat/Protein?

Im trying to find information on the ratios of CHO/Fat/protein I should eat when on a bulking diet.

I am keeping track of my calorie intake using fitday and I am pretty regularly around 3500 (I weigh 175lb with 12%bf)

The thing i notice is that on one day my ratio was CHO/Fat/Pro 40/20/40

and on another day it was 60/20/20 and it has been anywhere in between, if anyone has any links to where I can find out the ideal ratio or has a personal opinion I would be very appreciative.

    thanks

most people follow a 40/20/20 but it doesnt have to be perfect. Most just get the right amount of protein and not too much fat and just let it all fall into place.

Ratios are not as important as ensuring at least 1g/lb of bodyweight in protein and adequate fat intake (at least 20% of daily cals).

That only adds up to 80%.

    I usually go with 40/30/30 or 35/35/30

    Bingo.

I think there should be some kind of sticky thread made that explains how unnecessary ratios are. I've been seeing a lot of threads lately asking what ratios are best, and more than half the responses actually give the thread-starter some kind of ratio recommendation .

    The REAL recommendation is:
    at least 1g protein/lb bodyweight
    20-30% fat
    the rest is carbs

Ok cool. I'm 5"8 175lbs as well. Although my bodyfat was measured at 19% the other day. Would you mind putting some pics so I can see what someone at that weight and height looks like with a decent bf%.
