when bulking how long before bed should your last meal be, not including protein drink before bed
donnyx15
I drink eat pretty much right before I go to bed....
I used to think it was bad becuase everyone just said it was....
Now I realise the shorter your distance between your last meal on one day and the forst of the next is better....
It keeps the metabolism high and ensures your body is fuelled![]()

when bulking you can eat pretty much anything you want.
The last thing you want to do is sacrifice muscle because you're afraid of getting fat.
Yes, thats true, but I still dont think its good for your body to not have any food in it for 8-11 hours (while you sleep)Originally posted by Hulk

I find it better than interupting my sleep that will also effect me the next day..
I guess there are advantages and disadvantages of both.....
I totally believe that a solid sleep is more important than eating every 3 hours.
Donnyx: "not including protein drink before bed" You make it sound like a protein drink before bed is mandatory!!

am I the only one who has to get up in the middle of the night to take a p i s s???
Since I'm already up I might as well drink a protein shake since it only takes like 10 seconds!
Hulk,in my next article I will touch on that, all I will say is that shorteninig the time in between meals from when you go to bed and wake up may not nessicarily keep the metabolisim high.
Even if weight gain is your purpose you still want to minimize fat gain.

"Test all things; hold fast what is good.": 1 Thessalonians 5:21
"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"
