I have been posting here since 1-03 and have never been around a digi cam long enough to post any pics. But finally I got some.![]()
Notes
1. I got one week left in my bulk
2. My current stats are in my sig
3. The pics were taken with a cell phone camera
4. I suck at posing
5. The lighting wasn't the best
I am about to start my first "real" cut and I hope to shed some fat and reveal this hard earned muscle.
If anyone could guess my BF% it would be great. Thanks a lot in advance

I think you're looking good bro! To be honest, I might even suggest a little more bulking before your cut. Some people will say your BF% is to high but I would guess 17-18%. Good work!

I got it tested when I was 170 and it was 10%. So it could very well be that high. I was thinking like 15-16% myself... but I could be wrong.

If you are at 17% now that means you're up roughly 12 pounds of muscle. How long have you been bulking? Does that sound about right to you? 12 Pounds of solid musle sounds to me like 6 months of good natural lifting and eating. I also don't know how acurate your 10% check was when you were 170 so its really hard to say.

well, i would love to continue bulking, but there are several problems.
1. my clothes are no longer fitting
2. my waist is 35.5 inches at my belly button
3. i suck at cutting and i would like to be a lot lower bf% by summer.
4. i said my goal was 16.5 arms and a 25.5 inch quads. both goals have been reached.
5. i feel pretty fat now everyday
once again, i would LOVE to continue bulking, bulking is easy for me and i love it.
but i feel like i've put on some quality mass, 30 pounds naturally to be exact, and i would like to see some of my work in the form of cut muscles.
but i'm always open to advice. thanks for the props fellas.

Mic, looking big there bro. Some huge arms you have. I think you are in that gray area of should I cut or continue to bulk. I guess it comes down to personal judgement. I would definetely be considering it at your BF and I am almost there lol. But there is lots of time til summer and 200 at 5'11 isn't that fat. I think Veet is the same height with 15 more pounds. He doesn't think you should stop. IMO also, you could go a bit further.

thanks for all of the compliments fellas. you are making me want to keep bulking. But right now I feel like my 35.5 inch waist is very fat, and I dunno if I want to get any fatter. But another half inch on the arms and legs would be nice.
By the way guys.... here are two pics of my before I started lifting weights. These were taken sometime in late 2002. I was in Florida at the time. I weighed about 150-155 and my arms were like 13 inches. I guess I've made a lil progress.![]()

You don't look like you're wearing anything about a 36. Honestly. I would suck it up and bulk for another month. My BF% is higher than your right now and I really want to cut. However, I decided to push it out till beginning of march and I think it will be better for both of us to keep bulking a bit longer. One month isn't going to kill you, but when you do cut that extra muscle is going to look awesome!

lmao... i really want to keep bulking but being a fat ass sucks. Thoug, some 17 inch arms would be great too. I may continue to keep rolling. I'll figure it out before the end of the week.
