    Gear

Not sure if this is the right board but I wanted to get this belt that one of my buddies has. I haven't seen him recently and never ask him where he got it but it has a chain hanging from it so you can hang plates on it when doing pull-ups or dips.

Would they have these at any general sporting goods store or would I have to get it online?

BTW, my gym doesn't have any of these, only squating belts.

Also I'm looking to get a big block of chalk, where to look?

The belts might be at a local store. The chalk too.
Its the same chalk used for rock climbing.

just bring a thick belt(one for your pants) and hook that to the gym belt.
That way you can loop the weight thru the pants belt, and attach the pants belt to the gym belt.

I recommend against this. Just get some chain from the hardware store. Get about 4ft and a quick link or carabiner. Total cost? Less than $5. Don't mess up a decent belt.
