For some reason I've always neglected rear delt work, cos' I assumed that with chins and rows they'd get worked enough. But I've noticed that they're quite popular amongst gym goers, so I was thinking about throwing in some rear lateral raises.
Are rear lateral raises an important exercise?
Yes.

Agreed. But it is dependant on the person and their routine. My rear delts get worked to some degree on almost any upper body movement. Most people actually probably overtrain their rear delts, IMO.Originally Posted by Vido
If all you do is bench and curl then you may benefit from rear delt work, otherwise I wouldnt ad it.
