    eye problems

ok, I was sick last week and as I napped with my contacts in an eye lash got caught in my right eye. it severely abraised up the right side (in the whites) and turned it a nice shade of red. I didnt wear my contacts the next day and it did really well but I went to Tech over the weekend to see the woman so I needed my contacts and wore them all weekend. yesterday it got really irritated again and when I went home from work, I took them out and it was even redder. today the redness isnt as scary and is slowly healy. my problem is I cant work out in glasses or drive very well since it is really out of date so I'm missing valuable work out sessions. apparently this weekend it didnt bother me but it didnt heal either so how long will it take for this crap to heal? eyes I heard heal pretty quickly but it was really really abraised..I could feel it yesterday whenever I blinked. people tell me to see a doc but I'm one of those guys that dont go to doctors unless I've lost an arm of something. I just dont like wasting the time.

be careful with your eyes bro.. i myself have had two corneal ulcers one in each eye and almost went partially blind in my right eye just from being an ass hat and pretty much never taking them out and letting them heal..

back onto subject it does take some time to heal so 2 weeks minimum i think you should go without wearing them. give them a chance to breathe a bit and heal properly.. or else find out the hard way like me..

well im not sure what you can get in the stores but mine were prescribed and helped a big deal.. im pretty sure sterile drops may help but something to keep it moist at all times.. if i can find my old bottle ill let you know what it is exactly but i know they sell someting very similar in stores..
