    kidney pain, please help.

what's up, I am having some bad kidney pains on my right side. A few years ago I had an infection and the pain was practically unbearable. I plan on seeing a doctor but he will not be in the office until Tuesday b/c of President's day. I was wondering if you guys knew of anything I could do to try and alleviate some of the pain until then.

cranberry juice? heating pad? anything? thanks for your help everyone.

Could be a UTI or a stone. I recommend drinking a lot of water. If it hurts that bad, go to the E.R.

I agree. If you develop a fever in the meantime, you should also get to an ER asap.
    I know you're half-crazy, but I wish you'd go all the way.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I saw a doctor today and he said that it was an infection, no stones were found. He gave me an antibiotic and a pain medication to take and said that it should clear up shortly.

    I appreciate the responses.

Good to hear that it isn't too serious.
