    Dwarfs need muscles too....

Well gents, I am back. Current weight of 237.

    02/15/05
I went in to have the surgery on my wrist to have the ganglion cyst removed. Surgery went good and I didnt have any after pain. I only took 1 pain pill that night just to be sure I didnt roll over on my hand and wake myself up. I went back to the work the next day without any problems with typing or moving my wrist. 02/17 I went to the gym for leg day. Everything seems to be going fine but I do have alot of swelling and some infection of the site. I had 4 stitches but one of them busted due to the swelling. Started back up with chest/shoulder day on 02/21 and it was fine. 02/22 was back day and I didnt have any problems.

    That leads us to today.

Nice work Grumpy! You're pretty keen, getting back into it a week after the op!
The infection doesn't look too bad from that pic...

Nice to see you're back at it so quickly from the op. What's the goal for now? Bulking, cutting? You're weights seem down so maybe it's time for a bulk.

    Thanks all.

There was no infection. There was alot of joint fluid and blood build up and this was causing the swelling and the remaining stitches to irritate the skin which makes it look infected. I went in on Friday and they removed the stitches and drained out about 3 cc's worth of fluid. It looks 100% better and is barely noticable.

Had to miss the gym today friday and today due to my wife being out of town. Cant wait to get back tommorrow.

Good work man. Doesn't it hurt that arm putting up that much weight? That's awesome.

Good to see you back and glad the wrist is back to functional. Impressive weight especially so soon after surgery. Is there any reason for using a dip machine instead of doing regular dips?

    Thanks all.

    Arm feels back to 100%.

I am not really fond of machines, I do have a few I like such as the shoulder press machines, but I had to wear a brace that forced me to keep my wrist straight which made me nervous on bench presses and such. I was afraid the weight may slip from my had since the brace has a large metal bar that impeeds my grip.

I finally ditched the brace this morning.

    Currently bulking.

    165 x 10

    Cable Pressdown
    100 x 15
    130 x 12
    160 x 10

    Cardio:
Treadmill: Various inclines and speeds. 20 minutes.

ECTX: I use the machine for dips. The "dip" station at the gym is one of those multi use machines that has the dip handles and the pull up handles and there is a pad you can put your knees on and add weight to assist you. I dont like using it because the dip handles are really wide and due to a very old shoulder injury that seems to only be bothered by the width. It use to be bothersome on any shoulder exercise but it seems to have healed up unless I do really wide grips. Therefore I use the machine since I can set the handles closer together which doesnt bother my shoulder.

I took it fairly easy today just to make sure my wrist was all better. It feels fine but I wont be able to tell until tommorrow. If it begins to swell up with fluid, then I know I did a no-no and I will return to using the brace.
