    chinups/pullups

i thought that pullups (the wider grip. not real wide but wider) were supposed to target the lats more. but i never really feel those the next day. well yesterday i did some weighted chinups (close grip underhand) and when i was doing it i felt it mostly in my biceps but today i'm feeling it in my lats. i can't do weighted on pullups cus i can barely get out 6 for one set on those. but chinups i can rep out 10 for a set so those seem easier. does anyone else feel chinups more than pullups.

Chinups will be easier than pullups because the biceps are more involved, so you can get more reps. More reps tends to create more DOMS. Also, a narrower grip will increase the range of motion.

But mostly, if you were to do pullups with a small amount of assistance to help you get ten reps, you would probably feel it in your lats the same amount.
