    post workout protein

would there be anything wrong with drinking an RTD like this http://www.affordablesupplements.com/carb_sense_rtd.asp
for protein right after i work out, along with a bowl of oatmeal and a banana? I have optimum nutrition vanilla whey but it tastes awful and these are so much easier. THe protein is a mix of slow and fast digesting, so i think it would work... aside from cost, would this be ok post workout protein?

Actually if you are still trying to gain, you might look into something like this

I've had a pro m3 strawberry mrp, and it was very very yummy.

Just deal with the taste. If you're like me, you can try to drink it so fast you barely taste it anyways. Supplements are not meant to be savored and enjoyed, they're just a means to an end. Save your money and use it, and buy something different next time.

I just chug my shakes and then bite into a banana all in one breath. Takes away all the bad taste.

The reason I even suggested pro m3 is because, she is obviously not concerned with cost, and she wants something that tastes good obviously. Before sinking 48 bucks into rtd, I suggested that she should first look into a mrp.

You don't need to take a full serving.

If you want a good protein supplement, just buy ON Whey from your local SND or GNC or whatever supplement store nearby. It's cheap, has a smaller serving size, and tastes great (but don't buy cookies and cream). I have chocolate and it tastes nice.
