    Alcohol and bodyfat

    How does bodyfat effect ones ability to consume alcohol?

    eg..

    Frank #1
    original Frank

    160lb 30% bodyfat.


    Frank #2
    Frank after some serious work

    160lb 8% bodyfat.



    Would the new look Frank be effected more by alcohol than the old frank, visa versa or would there be no differance?

    ok guys dont make me get out my editing pen to take care of this degeneration...lol
    the alcohol is diluted by the total volume of circulating fluid. thus if frank still has x liters of blood it will have similar effects

    How much alcohol dehydrogenase (enzymes) does frank have?
    fat will not help you metabolise alcohol. though if getting to 8% fat you may start to be dehydrated so hang over worse.

    Also if frank becomes a alcoholic you generate new pathways to metabolism alacohol that none alcholics do not have. Thats why some hevay old drinkers, can drink 10 pints and be sober after hour after putting down the last pint.

    Well my own personal exsperience has been when I was really heavy and drank...I could drink like a fish andnot get drunk...last time I tried doing that...i blacked out half way between the bathroom and hallway..so I am guessing weight does play a factor in it....I get drunk really easy now!
