It took longer for you to make that post than it did for me to find the answer on google.
Search for "protein in eggs" and the first link takes you to:
the doc - Thank-You
Dirt - I'm a big Google fan, I did search their first but mthave used the wrong string of words. Thanks.
About 21-24g of protein.Originally Posted by reesee
Btw, that's the amount of egg I use for my b'fast omelettes sandwich: 6 whites and 1 yolk, 1 slice of lf cheese and 2 slices of whole wheat bread. It's a total of about 39g of protein. Makes a nice meal.
It depends on the size of the egg really. They come from medium up to jumbo. Obviously, jumbo has a few more calories than a medium egg. Fitday has approximate values for each type.Originally Posted by Collegekid
I use extra large eggs. For breakfast I have 6 eggs (1 yolk) and two slices of pb n' j on white bread.
the AEB (american egg board) says that the whole egg has like 6.2g p. The white has 3.5 and the yolk has like 2.7. but of course all eggs are diff. so i go with 3 for each white just to be safe.
