Pick a day.. For me summer starts in July so for the 1st of July what do you all think you could be doing different? What plans have you got for the summer as it is getting nearer.
Main reason I joined the gym I know this may sound bad but its that the women like a man with a good figure as do we men like it on women! pathethic I know but I wanted to look different for the summer. I wont meet my long term goals for this summer but I rekon I can be closer than I am today. So 1st of July I will find this thread and see what my stats are and see how close I am. Any of you plan to cut for the summer? If so when you planning on starting to cut and for how long?

I always cut and bulk backwards. I'm usually ripped over the winter because I am so busy with school and such that I lose a few pounds. During the summer I actually have the opportunity to really stuff my face with food and I usually put on a few pounds of fat. Soon, though, I'll reach my goal weight and stay there year round.
I started my cut at the beginning of March. I am not sure how long I will be cutting for though. I do not plan to cut through the whole summer though.
I still am not disciplined enough in my diet to go on bulk and cut cycles, and I'm deathly afraid to bulk because I used to be a fatboy. I take the WBB disapproved route of eating around maintenance trying to lose fat and gain strength at the same time.
i'm just like bizatch. i just started my bulk and it will continue at least until june or july
Yeah I plan on cutting sometime within the next couple months. I want to hit 215 before that though.

I started cutting 12/27/04. I hope to be around 9%BF by 5/1/05. That's meh goal.
I've been bulking for 6-7 weeks now and I'm up about 22-23 lbs. I plan to do another 25-30 lbs and then cut, I will probably start my cut near the beginning of July when I go to europe, so thats summer.
I doubt I'll stop bulking for the Summer. I started mine in June of last year, and put on upwards of 30 lbs so far, while only gaining 5% bodyfat. My lifts are still going up so there's no reason to stop just for the summer. I'm not THAT vain![]()
Cutting then maintaining until probably August, then a bulker for the fall.
I'd like to get this fluff off my ass SOON! Abs are already doing good, though.

242 right now. Started on Tuesday (03/29) to cut up for summer. I'm at about 15-16% right now, my goal is 10-12% by the beginning of July. Same reason - want some definition when I take my shirt off instead of just bulging out everywhere. Also, getting laid seemed a lot easier when I weighed 209. I think the girls are afraid of me at this weight.

Welcome to the boards brother!! My overall goals now are to rehabilitate my back and get back into lifting heavy again. Before I start training heavy I plan to train very strict and bodybuilding style as I work my way back up to the heavier weights. My goals now are more towards building muscle and less towards strength at the moment.
After herniating two disks in my back, I have to try some different training. Mostly BB style for now. If I ever heal enough I can go back to strength training again as well. Ive always trained for both size and strength, for now itll be mostly size training.
