Hey, when you guys do shrugs do you guys use dumbbells or do you use the bar?
I just started using both. I used to just use the dumbbells, but I wanted to shake it up a bit. For the bar I feel like I can pinch a lot more, but i dunno...
I use a box, its about 3' by 3' you stack weight on sides.

i find it easier to hold more weight with the bar, rather than dumbbells, and its just easier for me. The trap bar is what you really need but most people dont have them.
either is good, id reccomend deads above all other though for traps

I like old school Trap Bar...or in a powerhouse gym you can find a good trap machine to use....I'd rather use it can get a lot more weight on it and can do seated shrugs or the regular shrugs....but remember when ur doing shrugs don't roll the shoulders...it will lead to injuries later on down the road....
