Has anyone tried store-bought egg whites?

I really hate digging the yolk out of eggs. I saw this today when I went grocery shopping but it was right next the egg "mix" which I know tastes like **** because that is what my Uni's dining hall serves.. I shook around the package of egg whites and it feels like the consisitency of egg.. anyone buy this?

Egg beaters are 99% real egg whites. They are a little spendy and come in a shape of a milk carton. Each contain 6 liquid eggs and they cost $2.20. Thats how I get all my eggs.
UPDATE: turns out they are on sale for $1.40 right now.

Costco has egg substitute for $7 for 6 cartons. I've been using 1.5 cups of it in the morning for breakfast. Alittle costy, but lower in cals and fat which is good since I'm trying to lose weight. I rather get my fat from flax seed/fish oil anyways.

They're pasteurized. And they are quite expensive in comparison to regular eggs, atleast where I live.

they are just egg whites in a carton... not really worth the price unless you are really lazy and dont want to take the 3 seconds extra to seperate the yolk from the white

I don't have a lot of time in the mornings to separate, so it it sometimes worthwhile.
