Yeah, housing all of those people, even mass transit would be packed to the brim. Moving about the city, simply impossible.

I would rather it have been France. Our little country is already over crowded as it is. London is too small to house all those people and provide transport for them. London is in fact terrible full stop.

i don't think New York is going to try for 2016. All the stadium plans and everything were contingent on getting the '12 games. Putting the projects four years out, destroys the financing plans. The city was planning on revenue from the Olympics to help pay some of the debt.
They say America has a good shot at getting the '16 games, but which city would be able to do it? Miami? Dallas? Seattle?There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
