What would you say is the better food to eat:
food 1: 170 Cal, 10g Fat, 5g Carb, 15g Protein
food 2: 145 Cal, 5g Fat, 10g Carb, 15g Protein
So I'm pretty much asking if a food contains high protein, is it better with low fat or low carbs. I was thinking low carbs.
Depends what kind of carbs and fats they have. Mind telling us what foods these are?

They aren't real foods, just made up. Could you explain what you mean by type of fat and carbs? Isn't unsaturated fat worse, and what about the carbs?
Saturated fat are worst. As for the carbs, whether thay sugar or not I believe. Am i right HW?
Pretty much. Theres also good sugars and bad sugars. And yes the type of fat matters.

Just eat clean and get in enough protein and essential fatty acids (EFAs) and the rest really doesn't matter. Sure there are some foods that are better than others, but total calories consumed is the main thing you should concern yourself with. The whole food combining theory is just that, a theory. There is no proof behind that argument, and it has been discussed at length many times before. I would recommend eating approximately 1lb. of protein per pound of bodyweight, approximately 25% of your calories from fat, and the rest can be made up of carbs.

I would say food 2 on a cut, assuming the carbs arn't sugars, and the fats are not saturated or trans fats. I try and go with a 45%p/30%f/25%c balance of cals, food 2 is closer to that.
