    drinking lots of water

I havn't been drinking near as much water as a should lately, and I'm starting to keep track of how much I drink(preferably a gallon a day). I try to drink a 16 oz cup of water every hour, but it seems like right when I'm done drinking it, like 10 minutes later I pee it all out again. Is this normal? it seems like a waste of time drinking a lot of water because it seems like it doesn't do anything.

Some of it should be staying in your body. It could mean that you arn't getting enough vitamins/nutrients in your body. This also happens if you have already drunk more water than your kidneys can hold, meaning you don't need to drink more.

Yes, drinking a gallon of water per day will keep you "busy", but I am told that it is doing lots of good things inside you.
