    Nolvadex for Gyno Treatment

I've gotten a lot of PM's about this lately so I decided to write a thread about this so people can reference this if they have questions.

Yes, Nolva can be used effectively to treat Gyno caused both by gear usage and by obesity. During a cycle if you notice itchy/puffy nipples I would suggest 40-80mgs of nolva per day until that subsides at which time I would suggest you maintain a dosage of 10-20mgs a day until the end of you cycle. No, this will not affect your PCT and you should proceed with PCT as you had outlined it before you started your cycle. If you didn't outline PCT before you started your cycle, check out the "First Cycle Sticky" at the top of the anabolic forum if you're running test, otherwise do a search or ask a question, the information is out there.

If you have pointy nipples and you used to be or still are fat, this can be one of two things. First, you may just have excess fat around your nipples, the weight and shape of which is pulling them down and making them appear droopy. Second, you may have developed extra male breast tissue from excess estrogen while being overweight. In either circumstance, the first thing you need to do is lose BF. Once you're down from ~20% to a more reasonable ~10% you will be in a much better place to know if you have gyno.

If you run nolva to combat gyno while you're still at a high body fat it will be very hard for you to track your progress. You need to lose the excess weight first and then use the nolva if you still have that excess tissue. To do this I would recommend 40mgs a day for a period of 1-3 months or until the gyno has cleared up.

If anyone had more questions please feel free to PM me but this should answer the basic stuff.

Is there any reason to worry about a rebound after getting off the Nolva, atleast in cases of natural gyno from high estrogen levels?

Thanks for the thread- I still can't quite tell if I'm still just fatter than I want to be, or if my legacy of adolescent fatness is haunting me with gyno... I'm probably sitting on about 14% right now, but there is that whole thing about fat coming off in the reverse order it went on- well it went on my chest, gut, and thighs first- the legs and gut are starting to look better but the chest still looks like ****.

I'm glad to know there's a solution outside of surgery- especially considering my may-be-gyno-man-tits apparently aren't that bad.

Holywars, I have read about the "rebound" effect experienced by some people after successfully completing nolvadex therapy but from what I understand only a small % of people experience that.

Denim, I wouldn't say that its a "solution" as its not 100% effective but its definitely a viable option.

Does the rebound make it worse than it was prior to treatment?

It's my understanding that it should not get any worse.

ive never been fat, and ive never done gear

in my teenage years i seemed to have gained some fatty tissue on one side of my chest...so ive had it for about 3-4 years now

can nolva combat this? its not bad, and i still usually wear tight shirts, but i still get a little self-conscious about it

if its just fat than no, Gyno is a gland. You should feel for bumps under your nipples, if the tissue feels hard and uneven you might have a gyno problem. if its soft like the rest of your fat, than its just a bf% thing.

I've had gyno since I was 12, and I've always been told there's no solution other then surgery. Does Nolvadex work on natural gyno? Anyone have any experience with this?

Yes, my gyno wasn't caused by gear or obesity, therefore your first post doesn't apply.

If serious i would stay with 40mg until i noticed some changes.
