    Satelite radio or MP3 player

I am trying to decide if I want to keep my sirius or buy a Mp3 player and a fm modulator and forget the monthly fee...

I have both and prefer Sirius most of the time. I like talk radio as well as music, and I like to hear stuff that I haven't heard before, so that's why I like Sirius.

People wonder why I call myself Mr. T. One dude asked, 'does the T stand for tough?' I said no. Another dude asked if the T stands for my last name, Tureaud. No it does not. The 'T' in Mr. T stands for tuna. T loves tuna.

I am addicted to my XM.
Out of the night that covers me,Black as the Pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul. In The fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate how charged with punishments the scroll,I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.

Plus I get to listen to a lot of cheesy 80's music that I would NEVER put on my Mp3 player for fear of someone finding out

My family has a handful of XM's in the cars and house.. its pretty sweet, but I'd still rather have an MP3 player purely because I have total control over what plays.

Or both! Mp3 players = one time fee.

I've never had a good experience with a modulator...they just don't transfer sound that well, and tend to pick up interference from the car's frame.

Honestly, why would you want our opinion? In the end it is up to you. And what you can afford. And what you really like.

I think deep down you made up your mind and just want someone here to justify to you.

I listen to maxim radio on sirius daily, because there aren't any talk radio stations around here that just talk about random crap. But, for music I'll usually listen to my mp3 player.

Why not get others opinions? Maybe I have made up my mind, who wouldnt want another toy, but I dont need justification from anyone. I have never had an MP3 player, only a Satalite radio so peoples opinions are appreciated and plus its sorta a topic of conversation
