ON 100% whey stain/stink
a bit of my choc shake (just whey and water) spilled in my bag and onto my towel. i washed both as soon as i returned home... but the stain won't come out of the towel and my bag has been washed twice but it still stinks!!
i've just put the bag in to soak in a pail of detergent water and my mom's trying to figure out what to do with the towel.
anyone knows how to get rid of the stain and stink?

If you don't care how the towel looks (or, if it's already white!), bleach it. As for the bag, just wash it several times, and if the smell is still there just use it. Using the bag and the regular smells and things in it, will cause the stink to "dissipate" over a short time.

thanks for the suggestions, i guess no one has ever spilled their shake before?
i'm gonna take the bag out and dry it now! couldn't stand the stink this afternoon.

Spilled mine all over my car one time and you know how the carpet is in those cars. Freaking smelled like hell for weeks, tried washing, vacuuming, did everything, still smelled. About 6 months later it started to smell like normal. Get a new gym bag is all I can say.
