I have a quick question... What does it mean exactly when a routine says to work up to max single? thx for the help
the max amount you can lift for one rep.
my exprience - joined gym 10 years ago, 6 1/2 years hard weight training exprience.
It means warmup appropriately so that you can move the most weight possible for one rep.

If I were to start from scratch as a young 13 year old again, I would do every press, squat, and perhaps deadlifts, for my entire career with chains. -- Dan John
