Music motivates me in the gym more than anything. Let's hear some good some good songs to workout too.
Mine are currently:
Foo Fighters - Best of You (I love it this song)
Any kind of Korn will get me going...
System of a Down will work too..
What else?

+1 on the SOAD
Foo fighters works well...
Rage against the Machine for cardio sessions :-)
"Deadlifts cure all. If your back isn't getting any bigger deadlift. If you legs aren't getting any bigger deadlift. If the alternator in your car isn't working... deadlift."
I was at the gym the other day and they were playing sappy song after sappy song. I was looking around to see if anyone else noticed this and no one seemed to care. Why the hell wants to work out to a bunch of chic songs that are depressing or slow? I almost went and complained lol.

I completely agree, although I used to do a lot of my baseball workouts at this one place that had the same song on repeat for the whole hour and a half you would be there. Needless to say it got annoying.Originally Posted by IdaMAN

That sounds like my gym. Mieko's is the complete pansy-assed-music gym. Same girly emo all day long.

Absolutely. Dimmu Borgir is great, Seinbenburgen too.Originally Posted by ilankaplan1

I've said it once, and I'll say it again...
nothing gets me pumped quite like this.
I highly recommend the soundtrack to anyone who's lacking motivation in the gym.

-Girls like big strong men, all the other men has to find a niche or a thing they supposedly love, you know...like saving whales or reading books, to get laid.
-Look..first I am scared little freezing virgin munk, but then I bare my self and I am nothing like a freezing virgin!
-Then I saw a little african boy sleeping, and I thought...that is little Okeke, he is tired from herding all the goats and the big goat got away today.

Lonestar...Ehhhhh If ya don't like it not alot of people do...I understand that. But its teh rap that pisses me off
Lonestar's fun to listen to in the car, don't think it would work for me in the gym though. I like metal and rap for workouts, although I do get turned off by misogynistic lyrics so I sometimes have to tune some stuff out when they play it at the gym.![]()

i listen to Texas Country. A lot of you probably don't know what that is but we got our own style of music down here. It's a whole lot more rock than that Nashville bull****.
Other than that I listen to all the bands that sharkall posted. Except you forgot AC/DC.
50cent, Lil John...hip hop generally
