I had an orange julius recipe and decided to try and tweak it
a bit. It turned out great.
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups ice
These last two ingredients I have changed:
1 or 2 scoops orange flavoured Iso whey protien powder
( It originally called for egg white powder I guess to make the
drink foamy and give it some body)
2 packets Equal or Splenda
( It originally called for 1/4 cup sugar.Yikes! )
To get the protein powder blended well, I first blend it with
the 1 cup of warmer water. Then add the orange juice, vanilla
and splenda. Top it off by adding the ice and blending it briefly.
That's it.
Nice recipe!
Here is another one:
1 cup orange juice (fresh is best)
1 cup milk
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 or 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder
1 teaspoon honey or sugar (optional)
pinch of salt
5 to 6 ice cubes
Blend everything in a blender without the ice cubes. Blend for about 1 minute adding ice cubes one at a time. You can add more water or ice to your taste.
I found it here
At the time, I used soy protein, but I recently learned about the dangers of soy protein isolate and decided to investigate other options. I read that pea protein was really healthy, but had a really funky taste. Then I found Phyto Protein’s vanilla flavored pea protein and I’ve been using it ever since. It’s full of protein and extremely low in carbohydrates. Three heaped teaspoons contain:
* 20.5 grams of protein
* 0.2 grams of carbohydrates
* 0.325 grams of fat (0.125 grams of saturated fat)
* 90 calories
Hi guys,....
I am here and i like the orange and orange fresh juice.Its giving us protein and
extra energy.I agree with your reviews and thanks a lot.
I know this guy's new, but I'm loving his posts already. I am learning his likes and dislikes as a person, which makes me feel like we are becoming friends. But, like, the kind of friends where I know a lot about you, but you don't really know anything about me. Because we're not really friends, but just guys that maybe work across the hall from each other or maybe we ride the same bus to work. Regardless I'll still tell you how my weekend was (and inherently listen to yours in length as well) and chat about last night's game (regardless of sporting season). Because we're guys and it's what we do.
