    Hammer curls, and forearm

About 6 months ago I started to feel pain in my right forearm. It's hard to discribe where but: If you lay your arm flat on the table, palm of your hand down, and you looked down, the pain would come from the right side about 1 inch below the elbow.

The pain only comes when doing hammer curls (Love those hammer curls), so I stopped. I decided to do preacher curls for a couple months in the hopes of being able to return to hammer curls. I tried yesterday, got threw the 1st set without a problem, the halfway through the second, it hurt again.

Would this mean I've done something more serious to my arm than I thought, or did I just not give it enough time to rest?

I did...doctor said lay off any exercise that hurts. I did that, but it came back. I'll get it checked again, more thoroughly. I hope I can get back to hammer curls.
