    magnetic weights?

    Hey guys,

I saw this guy in the gym who had some little magnet weights that can attach to the sides of dumbbells. Does anyone know where I can get those?

just bought a pair of 2 and 1/2 lbs for $45 plus shipping, that's pretty expensive for two little plates of magnet

    I know! They're insanely expensive!

One of these days I'll look for some dead speakers or transformers at a flea market or something so I can rape them for the magnets.

That's a great idea! You've got my wheels turning now. Look for some cheap 8"- 10" subwoofers, they will have the biggest magnets, you can just drill holes in them until you get the weight you desire.

Guess what I am going this weekend? LOL
